We are a small family based kennel's half way down the North Island on the east side of New Zealand, namely Gisborne. Our dog's are all brought up around children, thus encouraging acceptance of children & a great temperament. Dog's/puppy's however should never be left to endure small children who do not themselve's know how to behave around animal's & who might hurt them, this is when trouble can arise through no fault of the animal's, so therefore we encourage family's to use common sense, all to often we hear story's of parent's finding it "funny/cute" the action's of their little one's pulling & hitting at their furry family member, this is to be discouraged!
We first got into breeding Amstaff's after we attained our very first bitch "Sheba", our foundation bitch in the begining of 2004. We now have "Gypsy" who was our pick from a previous litter resulting from the mating with Champ "Cypress" (enyamstaff kennels), we are expecting great thing's from her in the not to far future. We also co-own 3 other female's from this litter with the hope one will be breeding quality once mature.
We do not have any stud's of our own as yet, choosing to look outside our kennel for stud's until we have breed what we perceive as the ultimate in stud dog's. We like to try various line's with our aim to find the best possible breedings.
We then went on to add Neapolitan Mastiff's to our kennel in July of 2006 with our foundation bitch "Invictus Sky", we now have 3 neo girl's & 1 male which we have breed ourselve's from excellent line's, this boy has a pedigree second to none & will be one to keep a look out for in the future.
As yet we have not joined the world of showing our dog's, concentrating mainly on developing our kennel, BUT we are hopeful of making that our next priority as we can see the need to add this aspect to our kennels.
